<FLORA> is a Free Company dedicated to braving the unknown, recording foreign findings, and procuring data for those who look for it. Mercenaries, Scientists--it matters not where one comes from. All that matters is whether the interested wish to sow the seeds of knowledge, and if they're willing to put in the work.
Out of character, we are a group of long-time friends who want to play the game together.
We are not seeking members at this time, and we are not RP-focused.
That being said, we will happily use our mansion for RP events/scenes if prompted!

Datura Venenum-Altugle
Head of Operations
The overseer of all activites Florum engages in. Can't seem to ever catch a break, and probably drinks way too much coffee and tea...
Originally spending more time inside as a medic and archivist, Datura has recently looked into improving her weakened disposition so she may head out to the field more.
Leifon Altugle
FRP-0731
An Allagan construct discovered in Nagxia by Tensai Tsuruji. Unpredictable and chaotic.
Though he takes on an appearance of a Lalafell, Leifon is more like a cyborg with organic features. His language chip is broken, leading him to speak in often broken languages and nonsensical banter.
Field Specialists
Florum Field Specialists consist of folks who focus on obtaining information about the lands, seas, and skies around them. Their work revolves around anything from studying flora and fauna, to simply tracking down how aether connects us all.
These folk do NOT RP. Please do not bug them!
Tensai Tsuruji
Lead Field Researcher
An eccentric old man whose a bit too into White Magic, Tensai is Datura's right-hand, and is really good at doing the work the girl can't handle in the first place.
Most refer to him as Master Tsuruji, but he personally couldn't care less about titles. Tensai has a strong affinity for cats and once tamed a pack of wild Coeurl only to challenge them to a napping contest. Don't ask.
Axel Reiyu
Forgekin Analyst
The type of guy to lock eyes and nod, Axel is a very simple and quiet individual. He snuck his way from Ilsabard into Gridania, where Datura found him injured and patched him up.
Datura took interest in him upon noticing his knowledge in guns and higher tech. As a result, he is usually assigned to any missions regarding the investigation of mammets and other humanoid contraptions.
Airi Yaeger
Voidsent Tracker
No talk, only kill. Airi has a bit of a mouth on her and can be a little too abrasive at times, but she gets the work done.
Having a Reaper Soul Crystal has its perks; the willingness to brave voidsent for power is something Datura wants to learn to do, and it also brings them all one step closer to filling up the archives with fruitful information.
Laboratory Researchers
Though they may not look the traditional part, Datura has entrusted her secrets to these folks, and endorses them well enough that she joins them on her travels. She will often refer to them to lead a job or three she finds herself stumped upon.

Datura has often joked about Arcentel someday transforming into a Dragon, but maybe she's not too far off from the theory truly coming to life.
A woman of few words, this Au Ra cares for those around her and knows how to pack a punch. If Datura isn't with Leifon, she's the next one in line to be asked for help.

It's a Miqo'te! N-no wait, that's a Chocobo! ...Wait, seriously? A Lalafell?
Small but deadly, Lloyd has dabbled his hand at many a transformation and black magic. He's good at causing maintained destruction, which helps a lot when <FLORA> finds themselves in a pickle.
Just, uh... don't call them Locke. They're sensitive about that.
Sarylae Ecila
Florum's Monographer
When Dat's a little too into connecting the dots, she turns to the one who can transcribe her scribbles just as well as the cyborg menace: Sarylae.
Shy, sweet, and always raring to go, Sarylae spends most of her days somewhere in the library picking through the books to find clues and connections. On her off days, she takes Conjury lessons from Tensai.

Project Altugle
PROJECT ALTUGLE is a multimedia project based on the backstory of Datura, Leifon, and Florum's construction. In a way, it is supposed to be a companion to RP and explains what went on prior to the events that shape up how they RP today.
Florum produces SCP-like articles and a webnovel as companions for the story. They are solely for OOC knowledge...as well as fun, tbh.
